User Accounts-Change your Password
Users may change their passwords via the TUMS Account Management System. Except in handful of cases, users must change their password in TUMS rather than changing the password in a particular application. This is because we utilize a central user directory that works with most of our services.
Password changes do not affect applications that are not using CAS login:
ODIE (CAS is optional)
Wordpress (CAS SSO plugin is optional)
Lime Survey (CAS is optional)
Change your Password
1. Login to the TUMS Account Management System using your existing email address and password
2. Click Change Password
3. Type a new password in the box that appears. Your new password must adhere to the password policy. TUMS will notify you if your password is not strong enough (Medium level required). You will have to type your new password for a second time. The system will notify you if they do not match.
4. Select Create when finished. TUMS will display a success message when your password is changed successfully. If there is an error, your password was not changed and you must try again.
Please Note: Any other devices using this same account may need this same password change entered into the settings (like mail clients).
